His love for the post and woodworking prompted him to build his own lofts on his own garden, as at the time, lofts on the market seemed like quality was severely lacking or lofts that were of a higher standard were vastly overpriced. So from that moment Tranter Lofts was born! With the ideals that a loft should be of quality and simply put, should not cost the earth.
So fast forward to 2015, John retired, time for his son James Tranter to continue making quality lofts keeping with the ideals and keep pushing the company further, keeping up with an ever changing sport, TRANTER LOFTS is now TRANTER GARDEN BUILDINGS & LOFTS, operating throughout the UK and worldwide!
